Fertility
Our fertility program, designed to meet the unique needs of those seeking to conceive, combines medical expertise with compassionate support. We understand that fertility can be a complex and emotionally charged topic, which is why our holistic approach aims to address your individual circumstances.
Our fertility patients come from all walks of life: Maybe you are not ready to attempt pregnancy now, but want to know what your ovarian reserve is so you can plan for the future. Maybe you are in a same-sex relationship and want to know your options are and learn more about resources. Maybe you want to optimize your health before pregnancy by achieving by discussing lifestyle factors that may impact fertility such as smoking, alcohol consumption, diet, exercise, stress levels, and environmental exposures. And finally, maybe you or your partner were diagnosed with infertility and you need additional support during your IUI or IVF journey. Our telemedicine consultations allow for in-depth discussions about your medical history, lifestyle factors, and reproductive health, ensuring a thorough understanding to guide your fertility journey.
Within our fertility program, we offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to your needs. These services include preconception counseling including optimizing your health prior to pregnancy, fertility assessments, hormonal evaluations, genetic testing, emotional support and counseling, and collaboration with other healthcare providers when necessary. We also provide evaluation of your ovarian reserve with tests such as Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) levels. AMH testing is a diagnostic tool used to assess the quantity and quality of a woman’s remaining eggs. By measuring the levels of AMH in the blood, healthcare providers can gain valuable information about a woman’s fertility potential and help guide decisions regarding family planning, fertility treatments, and reproductive health management.
We also provide integrative and adjunctive approaches for fertility, after discussing your specific needs. We offer guidance on weight management, the use of acupuncture and mind-body techniques, that may support stress reduction and overall well-being, as well as addressing vitamins deficiencies and incorporating antioxidant-rich foods, all which may provide potential benefits. These approaches should complement conventional medical care, and it’s essential to seek individualized guidance to ensure safe and effective integration of these adjuncts within your fertility journey.
In addition to medical treatments, adjunct consultations can provide vital support and guidance for individuals and couples undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and third-party reproduction journeys such as egg donation, sperm donation, or gestational carriers (surrogacy). These consultations offer an opportunity for patients to receive comprehensive information, education, and logistical support regarding the various aspects of these complex processes. An adjunct consultant, specializing in reproductive medicine, can assist patients in understanding the medical procedures, legal considerations, financial implications, and ethical considerations involved in third-party reproduction. They can help navigate the selection and coordination of egg donors, sperm donors, or gestational carriers, ensuring that patients have access to the necessary resources and support throughout their unique reproductive journey. By incorporating adjunct consultations alongside medical treatments, patients can receive personalized guidance and support, enabling them to make informed decisions and navigate the complexities of third-party reproduction with confidence.

For example, physical examinations, some diagnostic tests, and certain procedures like ultrasound scans may need to be conducted in a clinical setting. However, we can guide you on when it’s necessary to visit a local healthcare facility for these specific assessments, while the majority of your care can be provided through telemedicine, including consultations, counseling, education, reviewing test results, and adjusting treatment plans.

How can I test my AMH?
Ovarian reserve testing is a way to assess a woman’s remaining egg supply and overall fertility potential. One commonly used marker in ovarian reserve testing is Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH). AMH is a hormone produced by the cells in developing ovarian follicles, and its levels in the blood provide insights into the quantity and quality of a woman’s eggs. AMH testing is favored for ovarian reserve assessment because it can be measured at any time during the menstrual cycle and is relatively stable, reflecting the number of follicles a woman has. By measuring AMH levels, healthcare providers can better understand a woman’s ovarian reserve and make informed decisions about fertility treatment options and timing. It’s important to note that AMH testing is just one piece of the puzzle and should be interpreted alongside other factors, such as age and menstrual history, to provide a comprehensive evaluation of a woman’s fertility potential. We offer AMH evaluation for $250 which includes the blood work and consultation to review the results. Simply schedule a consultation at the Ovarian Reserve (AMH) Evaluation under Preconception and Fertility here.
